If something isn't right with your order, we're here to help.
1. Our 30-Day Return Policy
You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
To qualify for a standard return, products must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging, with proof of purchase.
We understand that certain concerns may only become apparent after trying a product. For this reason, requests involving opened or partially used products may be reviewed individually, as explained below.
Please contact us before returning any item. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.
2. Opened or Partially Used Products
We recognize that everyone's wellness journey is different. Occasionally, a product may not be the right fit, even when used as directed.
If you experience discomfort, sensitivity, or another concern after beginning a product, please contact us at hello@adaptogenritual.com within 30 days of delivery.
Include your order number, the product concerned, and a brief explanation of your experience.
Each request will be reviewed individually and with care.
Please understand that our 30-day return policy is not an unconditional money-back guarantee. Products that have been substantially consumed, exhausted, or used extensively are not automatically eligible for a refund.
We reserve the right to decline discretionary return requests that do not meet our policy conditions, while respecting all applicable consumer protection laws.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
Please inspect your order upon arrival.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible at hello@adaptogenritual.com.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photographs of the product and packaging, when possible
Claims should be submitted within 30 days of delivery whenever possible.
If the issue is confirmed to be our error or a product defect, we will arrange an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement or refund at our expense.
Products may still qualify for assistance when a defect or damage becomes apparent only after opening.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
4. How to Request a Return
To begin a return request, email hello@adaptogenritual.com.
Please include your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for your request.
Our customer support team will review your request and provide instructions if your return is approved.
Do not send products back before receiving return instructions. The appropriate return destination will be provided after authorization.
5. Return Shipping Costs
For standard returns, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable for discretionary returns, except where required by applicable law.
If a return results from our error, an incorrect product, or a confirmed defect, Adaptogen Ritual will cover reasonable return shipping costs when a return is required.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service for authorized returns.
6. Shipping Rates & Delivery
Shipping charges are determined by your destination and applicable market currency.
United States
- Orders below $150 USD: $15 USD shipping
- Orders of $150 USD or more: Free shipping
- Estimated delivery: 5–7 business days
Canada
- Orders below $150 CAD: $25 CAD shipping
- Orders of $150 CAD or more: Free shipping
- Estimated delivery: 8–10 business days
France — Subject to Market Availability
- Shipping rates and free-shipping eligibility are displayed at checkout in the applicable market currency.
- Estimated delivery: 8–10 business days
- Import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees remain the customer's responsibility, including on orders eligible for free store shipping.
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Processing, carrier operations, customs clearance, and unforeseen circumstances may affect delivery.
7. Customs Duties & Import Fees
United States: Orders fulfilled domestically within the United States are not subject to international import duties.
Canada: Adaptogen Ritual covers applicable import duties on Canadian orders. Regular sales taxes, where applicable, are calculated separately.
France: Customers are responsible for applicable import duties, import taxes, and customs clearance fees. Free shipping promotions cover eligible store shipping charges only and do not include import-related charges.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping and customs information when required.
8. Lost, Unclaimed, or Undeliverable Packages
If your package appears lost in transit, please contact hello@adaptogenritual.com.
We recommend reporting suspected lost packages within 30 days of the estimated delivery date so that we can investigate promptly with the carrier.
If a delivery issue results from an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout, additional shipping charges may apply.
Orders returned because they were unclaimed, refused, or could not be delivered will be reviewed individually. Any refund or reshipping arrangement will depend on the circumstances, applicable costs, and consumer protection laws.
Where a package is lost or misdelivered due to an error attributable to us or our shipping partners, we will work toward an appropriate resolution.
9. Order Changes & Cancellations
We begin processing orders promptly.
If you need to modify or cancel an order, contact hello@adaptogenritual.com as soon as possible.
Once an order has entered fulfillment or has shipped, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible through our standard process.
This does not affect any cancellation or withdrawal rights provided by applicable law.
10. Exchanges
We do not offer automatic direct exchanges for standard returns.
If you would prefer another product, please contact our team to discuss the available options.
In many cases, the simplest solution is to request an eligible return and place a separate order for the desired product.
Defective or incorrectly supplied products are handled separately.
11. Refund Processing
Once your authorized return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method, generally within 10 business days after approval, subject to applicable legal deadlines.
Your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account.

12. European Union Consumer Rights
For eligible orders delivered to France or another European Union destination, applicable consumer protection laws take precedence over any conflicting provision of this policy.
EU consumers generally have a statutory right to withdraw from an eligible distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.
Certain exceptions may apply, including to sealed goods that are unsuitable for return for genuine health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, the legally required refund and return procedures will be respected, including applicable rules concerning original standard delivery charges and refund deadlines.
The customer is responsible for direct return shipping costs where permitted by law and disclosed before purchase.
Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights relating to defective, damaged, or non-conforming goods.
